One year later, she was featured in the December Christmas Better Homes and Gardens' magazine.

She began teaching doll making to Indian children as a Teacher Advisor on a Navajo Indian reservation in 1960. The next 20 years, Anne incorporated drawing & sculpting of characters as part of teaching high school English literature to her students. For the last 12 years, she has taught sculpting to adults and children in her studio as well as museums and galleries throughout the United States.

She volunteers to teach sculpting to "special needs" children and adults, as well as disadvantaged children throughout Southern California. Classes are taught in her Mission Viejo, California studio, as well as in galleries in Virginia where her grandchildren live. She is open to teaching sculpting in any state if weather permits.

Two of her largest Santas are at Children's Hospital in Mexico while others have been displayed in galleries and museums in California, Virginia and Arizona. The Huntington Harbor Yacht Club features the award winning, A Tribute to Dr. Chris. Since her Santas are limited to 25 annually, they are generally sought after by galleries, museums and serious collectors.
